Preschool News March 14-17

These are some of the exciting activities that we did last week

The students measured several lines on the floor using non standard units. 

They helped each other to measure each line with accuracy.

The children enjoyed making the boats.

The best part was watching the boats float in the water.

 

Each day is filled with new experiences and learning.

  During this week we will continue to work with measurement. The children will compare different weights and they will learn the words light and heavy.Please let your child bring a toy car or truck to play with it in school. I will send it back home on Thursday.

   

This is a short week.  There will be no school on Friday

PARENT FORUM MEETINGS: As we did last year, we are scheduling Parent Forum meetings by grade level to meet with the Head of School and Board President and discuss anything that parents may want to bring to their attention--kudos, suggestions, and concerns. Please exercise this option to make your voice heard. Our parents are our partners in education, and working together we can achieve remarkable things with our students. The meetings will be held as follows:
